Pakistan’s national indoor rowing team has created history at the 2025 Asian Indoor Rowing Championships being held in Pattaya, Thailand, from May 26 to 31. The team delivered an exceptional performance to secure a third consecutive overall position, winning 14 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medals. This record-breaking run marks a significant milestone for Pakistan’s rowing community, demonstrating the country’s growing potential in a sport traditionally dominated by regional giants like India, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan.

Competing against over 20 Asian nations, Pakistan’s relatively small contingent defied expectations with their dominant displays in multiple categories, including Masters, Under-2,3, and Open divisions.
