Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its swift and efficient action in shooting down five Indian aircraft during a critical confrontation. He stressed the operation as a testament to the PAF’s exceptional skill and frippery. Drawing a literal connection, Sharif recalled the fabulous frippery of Air Commodore MM Alam, who shot down five adversary spurts in a nanosecond during the 1965 war.

He stressed that moment’s PAF displays the same intrepid determination and perfection that Alam had demonstrated, adding that this recent success not only pays homage to a proud heritage but also strengthens Pakistan’s strong protective position.

The Prime Minister hailed the recent milestone as a powerful testament to the Pakistan Air Force’s operational readiness, strategic capabilities, and unwavering resolve to safeguard national sovereignty. “From their technical expertise to their courageous service, the PAF embodies the spirit of Pakistan,” he remarked, emphasizing that citizens nationwide take immense pride in their Air Force’s ability to defend the country’s skies with unmatched skill and valor.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that this decisive action delivers a firm message that Pakistan stands resolute in the face of any threat to its sovereignty. He commended the pilots and the entire Air Force team for their bravery, dedication, and professionalism during a critical moment.

He described the operation as a significant milestone in the nation’s history and a powerful response to external aggression. The Prime Minister also noted that the enduring legacy of M.M. Alam remains a source of inspiration for both the armed forces and the people of Pakistan.
