SUVs and other automobiles will soon be exported from Pakistan, according to the Ministry of Industries and Production.
Fifty locally built Toyota Indus SUVs will be exported in the first phase. The Toyota Indus Hybrid Corolla Cross will then be exported in the second phase.
In addition, 100 mechanical engineers from Pakistan have been sent to Japan for training. In Japan, their abilities are valued and recognized.
On June 4, the federal government discussed including more regulatory obligations on previously owned foreign cars in the next budget. Vehicles exceeding 1800cc will be impacted by this prospective increase, and additional fees might be imposed on other vehicle classifications.
